There’s a New Hunting & Shooting site in Town

I want to take a minute to tell you about a new site I was introduced to and I feel that even though it is new it appears to have a lot of potential. I kinda like the fact that it is a Connecticut based site, there are not to many in this area. My forum over at “Connecticut Hunting Today” is still sort of new but, is slowly gaining some new members. That is how I came across this site I am talking about because a new member named Andy Swatik the Owner/Administrator for the site which is called “CThunting n Shooting.com”. He was kind enough to register on my forum and I so returned the favor and registered on his.

I think we need more small sites & forums like this because that is when you can really be heard and get your point across and make a lot of new friends in the process. Some of these bigger sites are OK, don’t get me wrong but they tend to overlook the little guys which makes them feel they aren’t worth talking to. In the end it would only better our sport and traditions of hunting and shooting if we stop, take a breath and listen to them.

I have been very fortunate in what I do with the “Connecticut Hunting Today” site and my blog “Tails and Trails” for that matter. I can only thank Steve Remington with Skinny Moose Media for that who took a chance and set me up with these two sites and for that I am very grateful. I hope Andy does well with his site and I have a feeling that he probably will. I met him yesterday for awhile and it was a very nice visit. We had coffee and of course talked about deer and deer hunting and of course our sites and I can say he is as dedicated to all that as I am. Please stop by and give him a welcome.
