		<description>They are not saying that the slug wont drop faster,or hit the dirt before an 06 will.What is being said is,when the bullets hit the dirt,the 30-06 dosent keep traveling,as the slug would.The slug keeps traveling simular to a cannon ball bouncing along the ground.The 06 is not as prone to travel as far or with as much force after hitting the ground.</description>

		<description>Be careful what you say about slugs. I have shot through a 55 gallon drum at 150 yards it went thru and inbedded in a pine tree 50 yards beyound that.  I have also killed deer at 200 yards easy with the same gun and slug. I shoot a mossberg 2900 semi auto with a 24&quot; rifled bore slug barrel and a bri sabot 1 oz slug. I can shoot with all my friends with there high power deer rilfes for a lot less money. For me the only way to go is with a slug gun.</description>
